I bought this laptop because my previous Compaq was dropped and broke. My new Asus was reviewed well when I researched it and I agree! The best thing about the laptop is that it is fast and has a bright screen. It even has a number keypad on the side which is wonderful. The only problem I have is that the facial recognition software isn't perfect. This software allows the webcam to log you on instead of entering your password. It does work but you have to take a lot of sample pictures and have really good lighting. Overall a really good laptop.

It's a good laptop. I've always wanted one with a number keypad. For some reason, though, the one that I received makes a weird squeaking noise within the inner workings. It gets quite irritating, but I suppose it just comes with the refurbished status. With the exception of the strange noises, it is a fast and efficient computer so far.
